News: La Vergne welcomes 'classmate'

Sixth-graders at La Vergne Middle learned how to interact with their newest classmate Tuesday afternoon.
This new student is a little different from the other middle schoolers. Salsa won't have to take tests, do homework or read any books. Instead, her only job is to follow student Destiny O'Brien around and to warn those around her when she is about to have a seizure.

Video Shows Program's Experience Career Changing a Promising Service Dog Candidate

This video shows that experienced trainer's with cream of the crop dogs cannot make a dog into something that would be contrary to it's nature. Don't forget the tissues everyone! I applaud the trainer for having the love to let the dog do what make it happiest.
